Mohamed Shokr is a seasoned critical care registered nurse with over 12 years of experience, having served in Egypt, Qatar, and the United States. His career began with his graduation from the School of Nursing in Alexandria, Egypt, in 2010, and he further honed his skills by obtaining a master's degree in healthcare quality management in 2020. Driven by a desire to contribute more to the field, Mohamed immigrated to the United States with the goal of pursuing a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree at George Mason University. Juggling professional and familial responsibilities, Mohamed's commitment to his educational and career goals remains unwavering. Currently managing two jobs to support his wife and two children, he faces financial challenges while balancing work, family, and education. Nevertheless, his determination and focus on his academic pursuits, including seeking the Women's of Great Fall Scholarship, reflect his ambition and dedication. With a vision to complete his FNP degree by 2025, Mohamed aims to serve diverse and underserved populations, empowering patients and improving healthcare access and quality. His story is one of resilience, aspiration, and relentless pursuit of excellence, symbolizing perseverance and inspiration in the nursing community, and leaving a lasting impact on healthcare.
