SALLY ANNE
ANDREW PYNE

PRESIDENT

Sally Anne has been a member of the Women's Club of Great Falls for over 14 years and has held several Board and Chairperson positions during this time. Several years ago, she served as the Fundraising Executive for the Scholarship Fund which was immensely successful in reaching their fundraising goals, thus providing the Board the opportunity to increase the amount of  scholarships given to students to fulfill their dreams.   

 

She is passionate about the mission and strategic plan for the Scholarship Fund and has returned to the Board for a two year tenure, where she believes she can make a specific, intentional and significant impact along with her fellow Board members.

LINDSAY HARPER

VICE PRESIDENT

Lindsay joined The Women's Club in 2021 having recently moved back to the area with her family and looking for ways to get to know her new community. She enjoys being a member of the Scholarship Fund and its incredible purpose, helping to make a difference in the lives of local college-level students.

 
She grew up in Northern Virginia, where she attended and graduated from James Madison University. Lindsay's career has given her the opportunity to work in PR and events for some well known brands including; NASA, Whole Foods Market, national laboratories, government contracting companies, economic development groups, and education-based non profits.

Intrigued by the many avenues of participation within The Women’s Club, the Scholarship Fund is the perfect combination of her happy place - working with people and education, helping and caring. It is a privilege to be a part of the scholarship recipients academic journeys.

MISSY PERKINS

DIRECTOR OF PR

Missy has been an active member of the Women’s Club of Great Falls for the past 9 years. She has served on the board for 7 of those years, including past President, which allowed her to work closely with and support the Scholarship Fund. Missy is now excited to be bringing her talents and enthusiasm for philanthropy to the Scholarship Fund Board.

 

Missy has extensive professional experiences in real estate, marketing, and sales.  Outside of her professional responsibilities, she has been an active volunteer in many fundraising organizations, including the Spreckels Union Education Foundation on the central coast of California, where she was responsible for fundraising up to $120k per year to support music, arts and library programs.  She has been a fundraising and auction chairperson for the Celebrate Great Falls Foundation golf tournament, supporting our local elementary schools. Most recently, she has been the two time chairperson of the All Night Graduation Party at Langley High School, raising funds and coordinating events for a safe graduation night for our graduating seniors.  

 

Missy and her husband have lived in Great Falls since 2013 and have 3 adult children.

DYNNE SUNG

DIRECTOR OF SCHOLARSHIPS

Dynne Sung joined the Women's Club in 2021 and brings her passion for education to the Scholarship Fund's mission. Dynne works for a tech company, but focuses her time on her three young children. 

 

She is a strong advocate for higher education due to her experience as both a student and teacher.  Dynne has not only earned her JD/MBA/MSc, but was also an adjunct professor for the Master's in Technology Management Program at Georgetown University.

Dynne has dedicated significant time to giving back to the community through her volunteer work. Her past nonprofit board positions include the Friends of Theodore Roosevelt Island and a local dance company. Over the years, her other volunteer work includes interviewing prospective students for Carnegie Mellon University and sitting on the Fulbright Scholarship Panel for Georgetown University.

JACKIE HARDING

DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING

Jackie joined The Women's Club in 2020 and is excited to be a part of the Scholarship Fund. She has a passion for education and looks forward to supporting students pursuing their educational goals. 

 

Jackie has over 16 years experience in the Government Contracting industry.  In her current role she enjoys working across the company to drive effective change and improve business processes that assist with the successful implementation of the corporate strategy and vision.

 

Jackie completed her undergraduate degree in finance and obtained a Master’s at George Washington University, where she currently sits on an advisory board for one of the Executive Programs.  She lives in Great Falls with her children.

JENNY STEPHENS

SECRETARY

Jenny is a working mom and 14-year resident of Great Falls. She has a passion for helping others through education and mentoring, and strongly believes the Scholarship Fund helps fill an unmet need in the community for women looking to take that big step to go back to school and improve their lives.

With a background in clinical pharmacy, Jenny followed a non-traditional career path in health economics and outcomes research, eventually starting a consulting business with colleagues. She loves getting involved to provide opportunities to students interested in taking a non-traditional route to their career. At home she enjoys a busy life with her husband, two kids, and many pets.

 

Emma Mercer Treasurer

EMMA MERCER

TREASURER

A Great Falls native, Emma and her husband recently moved to Great Falls from Washington, DC in 2022. Emma graduated from Georgetown University in 2016 and has worked in legal support roles ever since. Her passions include cooking and baking, reading, and animals. Having tutored children throughout college, Emma is thrilled to have found a local organization benefiting education.

CHRISTIE LAVIN

ADVISOR

Christie is deeply inspired by the backgrounds of our students and the obstacles that each of them had to overcome to achieve their academic goals.  She feels tremendously privileged and honored to be part of these students' lives and academic pursuits.

 

Christie has many years of volunteer and non-profit experience, serving in school and church communities.  She is a former Board President for Visual Aid in San Francisco.  She has a Master's Degree from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley and worked in the San Francisco art world before relocating to the East Coast.  Christie enjoys restoring and painting vintage furniture while staying home with her three children.
