Shabana Bahkshi

My name is Shabana Bakhshi, and I am currently a student at Northern Virginia
Community College pursuing a degree in Education.

 

I am a single mother who is working hard to build a better future for my family through higher education. Despite financial challenges, I have remained committed to my studies and have maintained a 3.688 GPA.

My passion for education comes from my desire to help children learn, grow, and reach
their full potential. Through my coursework, including studies in Special Education, I have
gained valuable knowledge and skills that have strengthened my goal of becoming a teacher. I
am dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel
supported and encouraged to succeed.

Balancing college, parenting, and financial responsibilities has not been easy, but these
experiences have taught me resilience, determination, and perseverance.

 

My long-term goal is to earn a bachelor's degree in education and become an elementary school teacher. I hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students while providing a stable and successful future for
my child.
