Mohammad Arsal Asam

MY STORY

My name is Mohammad Arsal Asam, and I am a junior level transfer from Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) to George Mason University (GMU), where I will be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a minor in Theater Performance through the GMU ADVANCE program. At Nova, I was honored to receive the Dean’s List distinction for both the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 semesters, and was named a Presidential Scholar for the 2024–2025 academic year.  I plan to complete my bachelor's degree by Fall 2027, while completing IT certifications and developing a career specifically in cybersecurity.
