Khouloud Bergui

My name is Khouloud Bergui, and I am currently a Dental Hygiene student at Northern Virginia 
Community College (NOVA). Before entering the Dental Hygiene program, I completed 
NOVA's Dental Assisting program and worked as a dental assistant, where I developed a passion 
for patient care and preventive oral health. That experience inspired me to continue my education 
and pursue a career as a registered dental hygienist.

I have successfully completed the first year of the Dental Hygiene program and will be entering 
my second year. My goal is to earn my Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene, 
pass the required national and state licensing examinations, and begin practicing as a registered 
dental hygienist. I am committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care and educating 
patients about the importance of oral health and its connection to overall health.

To focus on the demanding academic and clinical requirements of the program, I made the 
difficult decision to stop working while attending school full-time.

 

After graduation, I hope to serve diverse communities as a dental hygienist, helping patients improve their oral health through prevention, education, and quality care.
