SCHOLARSHIP AWARDEES
We are proud to announce that this academic year, our Scholarship Fund Board has awarded 38 scholarships to outstanding students attending George Mason University (GMU) and Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA).

25 outstanding students,17 at GMU and 8 at NOVA, received our General Scholarship, recognizing their academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to their communities.

The dollar amount of the General Scholarship for GMU students increased to $4,500 each

The dollar amount of the SF General Scholarship for NOVA students increased to $3,500 each

3 exceptional students were awarded one of our 3 endowed scholarships:

The Women’s Club of Great Falls Endowment

The Doris Fisher Irwin Endowment

The Holly Ann Kuga Endowment

8 amazing GMU Early Identification Program (EIP) students were awarded scholarships to continuing our strong support of the outstanding program.

Two new EIP students were selected for funding

Funding for both of last year’s EIP recipients has been extended for the next three years

Funding has continued for the four students selected in previous years

Looking ahead, we have committed to funding two new EIP students beginning their freshman year in Fall 2027.

2 incredible students in the GMU Mason LIFE Program will share our $10,000 scholarship to facilitate their educational journeys. The Mason LIFE Program empowers students with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing inclusive education, life skills training, and support for independent living.
In total we have distributed over $165,000 toward scholarships this academic year.
