MY STORY

My name is Belky Alvarenga-Mendez. I am currently a freshman at George Mason University, and I am majoring in Business with a concentration in Marketing. I decided to major in this because I enjoy blending my creative and collaborative skills to accomplish work. My interest began in high school when I ran multiple social media pages for various clubs, and I liked the way it worked. Another exciting aspect to me is being able to work

independently and being part of a team to create cohesive ideas. Outside of school, I really enjoy doing art, whether it’s drawing, painting or crafting, it is stress relieving and can be done wherever. I also like to spend time with my friends, going outdoors, and going on road trips.
