MY STORY
My name is Sarahi Garcia Romero and I graduated from Mount Vernon High school. I am an 18 year old, first-generation Mexican American student who moved to the United States when I was barely six months old. I plan to major in Kinesiology with a concentration in Allied Health Sciences at George Mason University. I aspire to become either a physical therapist or an athletic trainer. My interest in the medical field deepened when both of my parents tore their ACL’s only two years apart from each other. These events, sparked my fascination with physical therapy, while my passion for athletic training started from my own experiences as an athlete. I would like to thank the Women’s Club of Great Falls Scholarship Fund for this financial assistance as I begin my college journey.
