Students attend our Women’s Club Scholarship Fund Fall Luncheon

We want to thank those students who were able to attend our Women’s Club Scholarship Fund Fall Luncheon. These amazing students brought energy and light to the room. Student Speaker, Sumita Chopra, spoke very movingly of her struggles. Receiving the scholarship (2022 & 2023) has helped her financially and motivated her to pursue a Special Education degree.

Another student, Hilary Moya, one of the GMU Early Identification Program alumni scholarship recipients, spoke about how the recent announcement of the Scholarship Fund providing three additional years of scholarship commitment to her education journey has greatly reduced her financial stress.

We are proud to announce the creation of our new GFWCSF Recipient Ambassador Program. This program will allow us to connect on a deeper level with our recipients and mentor them through their academic and professional careers. Allowing us, if need be, to assist in their future financial educational support. This year’s talented student ambassadors are Sumita Chopra, Hilary Moya, Crystal Forson and Helen Ezinne Agbapuruonwu.
