MY STORY
I am Lilia Benrabia. I am a first-generation Algerian immigrant pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Finance at George Mason University. I am committed to obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Finance and becoming a Wealth Planner. Having grown up in an immigrant household without access to financial resources, I am determined to support other immigrants and people from low-income backgrounds. I am Co-President and Treasurer of a registered student organization focused on enhancing financial literacy and public health awareness, while also creating opportunities for academic and career growth for students. I am committed to making a positive impact and inspiring future generations. Receiving this scholarship deepened my gratitude and strengthened my resolve to pursue my educational goals with even greater determination.
